Camping at the lake!

We spent this past weekend camping at the lake! The boys had so much fun, and we did too!

Abram and Owen had been catching little creatures in their nets, so Solomon decided to try it too. He caught a ball.

This is where Owen spent the weekend! Swimming. I think he has to be at least part fish, and would have slept in the water had we let him!

Abram was all about creatures this weekend! He found huge snails, clams, all sorts of fish, turtles, etc! He is such an animal lover.

Jared was brave and took all the boys on a paddle boat ride! They were once again hunting creatures. Owen was all about the hunting, but put his foot down to anything coming back with them in the boat!

Abram caught TONS of fish using the net, but he even caught some on his rod! A rock bass, and a bullhead. He was just a tad excited!

We had a super fun camp fire, and grilled hot dogs and roasted marshmallows! The boys were so much fun, and just plain goofy!

Tons of geese made their way to the dock several times. When they would come near, Solomon would hurry to find bread, and yell to all of us that his friends were coming! Super cute!

We ate at one of our favorite hang outs! Zorbaz!

Abram saw the cattails and thought for sure he could get a corndog inside. He thought they grew their own. Owen just rolled his eyes! The whole thing was hilarious!

Owen would just run off the dock and jump in the water! He has no fear of the water, and it is fun to watch him! Jared LOVED having a water buddy, as Jared loves to be in the water too!

Owen also had fun with the camp fire! I think he talked Grandpa Keith's ear off, which was cute! I don't know what is more fun, cooking your own food over a fire, or eating it! Owen will take both!
